Throughout our development as human beings, our brain and body create thinking and behavioral patterns — strategies we use to deal with different life situations. These strategies are necessary at various stages of life, as they help us survive overwhelming events and become who we are today. However, as we evolve, some of these strategies are no longer serving us. To grow, we need to question and change them if needed. This begins with getting to know ourselves better. By observing our bodies and emotions, we can better understand our automatic reactions, default thoughts, and how they influence us now. Then, by working with the body, we can release those patterns, integrate our experiences, and be free to grow further.
